About this range
A diffuse, non-reflective finish that hides layer lines remarkably well.
Matte PLA trades a little strength for a surface that scatters light instead of reflecting it, which makes layer lines far less visible without any post-processing. On a display piece it is the difference between "3D printed" and "moulded" at arm's length.
Treat the finish as the point. It is slightly more brittle than standard PLA and no more heat-resistant, so it belongs on things that are looked at rather than used.

PLA Matte
Matte-finish PLA produces flat, non-glossy surfaces straight off the printer. Hides layer lines much better than glossy PLA — popular for figures, miniatures, and display models.

How long does delivery take?
Orders placed before 2pm ship same day from our UK warehouse. Standard tracked delivery arrives next working day in most of the UK; remote postcodes can take an extra day.
Do you ship outside the UK?
EU shipping is available at checkout. Duties and import VAT are payable on arrival per your country’s rules.
What’s your returns policy?
Spools still in their unbroken vacuum seal can be returned within 28 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price; you pay the return postage. We can’t accept returns of opened or partially-used filament unless it’s faulty — moisture absorption affects print quality and we don’t resell anything we wouldn’t print with ourselves.
